Every Star

There is no outside.

I have said these words before

but I am a balloon

the truth is

in the sun and in the moon

I AM

the centre of a star

every star

do not deny it

read on

YOU,

I  AM

in the odours and the plastic

and the flesh that rises

the tidal clawing and

rainbowed

feather flyers

words spoken

magnificent

sung

we are consciousness, awareness

burgeoning breath

we,

you and I,

are opening minds…

The path is free,

WE

are

ONE.

WAYFARER

let us bound the mighty plains

like the first

like the last

in each citrus glance

bringing tears

river fast

refreshing the tongue

your choice

your flavour

my

celebration

and

we will writhe a

crater of smiles

in eternal

star flinging

sparking

pervasive

perfection.

  1. Beautiful poem – and I just realised that the first three lines (with a slight adjustment) would make a great little haiku in their own right:

    There is no outside,
I have said these words before –
    “I am a balloon”
    🙂

  2. I like the affirmations and how they end up echoing the motion of a balloon because a balloon is never stagnant, always in motion, going places and the open space is its kingdom.
This reminds me of the French classic movie Red Balloon: it’s very poetic and short.
