so cccccold
but
seeking f
or warmth
feeling
for flames
orange purple fat
red hot
fury
Oh Agnayi,
my love
Chantico,
my heart
Freya,
my flickering, my breath
Ida,
my belly
Sekhmet,
my life
OH Vesta!
to glory with
in dancing fever
Oh Fuchi,
your torrid fingers
arouse in me
desire
but you only
flirt….
steam free’s
from my chilled lips
I
need
I
choose
I
now
release myself to heat
Wow… I had to do some research here – thanks for introducing me to some members of the international pantheon of fire goddesses (especially Fuchi) 🙂 if you want to find some inner heat, this is the way to do it!

I’m relying on the above to get the references. This is intense, gorgeous and just so poetic…. I know that is a strange way to describe a poem, but this seems like the essence of what words can do and where they can move you…and what heat they can bring.

Beautiful – the instinctive search for warmth. Made me think I might just put the fire on… 😉

Whoa. I’ll mail you a good, Canadian winter approved blanket. It will take care of the cold body, and may even warm the soul a little. For the other, more intriguing aspect to this poem…I have no solution. 😉
Also, darn that Fuchi anyway.

Oh…such warmth could never be given by a Canadian blanket…wonderful poem IMHO.

If it’s a symbolic ‘nadian blanket, it just might help a wee bit. Especially if made from a Canadian fur tree. 😀
