OPEN this envelope
and in the smooth
yet sharp cornered sheets,
between the scent of fingertips
beyond the spreading ink
is poetry, sapling green
with story fine tears
blood crimes and flowers fight to reveal
each a resplendent joy…..
so sniff it,
and then tip it
to release
a flow of tiny wise stars
she seems to have not chosen the sun, instead the wood and glen where the dryads play …. a lovely work.

I have found the great thing about poetry is that it doesn’t have to always make sense to be thoroughly enjoyed. For instance, I don’t think I have a single idea what this poem is about, but even with that said, the imagery is so beautiful that I cannot help but be swallowed in the ocean of vibrant colours and words that captivate the visual sensors.

I was going to write a long reply but I don’t think that would make sense either at the moment! but it does come from somewhere and it brings me gifts and I am usually pretty excited to receive them… see SEE what I mean 🙂

its almost wretched to have to conform ourselves to human language with spiritual truths and sentiments that carry heavenly weight!

One thing I have always loved about getting lettermail is that the envelope and contents have been touched by the person who sent it. Sometimes lovingly, sometimes angrily – an energy flows out of that envelope all the same. It’s a bit intoxicating. Kinda like your poetry and art.
You are a genius. *nosepoke*
